Future Story Ideas

I wanted to quick make a post about some story ideas I’m currently working on or planning to work on in the future. Yes, some of them involved IP owned by someone else that I would need approval from before truly diving into, but here’s to hoping I can get enough behind my name that I’ll get that approval.

Star Wars: A New Force

Like the image above, I’d love to jump into a film with the Star Wars franchise that sees a new twist to the universe. I don’t know as much as a lot of the die-hard fans do, but I’d love to add my own twist to the universe where a Sith, tired of both sides of the force, seeks for something more as he feels there is more to the force that the Jedi and Sith aren’t exploring enough. After exploring deep reaches of old force techniques and history, he learns of forgotten planets with immense force wielders. Finding the planets vacant, he is forced to teach himself from ancient relics against incredible creatures. He eventually finds a way to harness and control energy and more than that as he follows his dark tendencies and prepares for a rivalry against Sith and Jedi alike with his newly found abilities.

A Horror/Comedy

Whether it’s a parody of Martha’s Notebook, working with Simon Pegg, or even joining a writer’s room for a new Scary Movie, I’d love to work on a scary parody movie of some sort. Not really a project I’m working on, but something I’d love to brainstorm with someone.

A Public Domain Twist

This one is currently in the works, and I’m shooting for an end-of-the-year release, but I’m currently writing a story that will bring a fresh twist to two beloved Public Domain characters that I believe lots of people will wonder why no one has done it. I would love to give more away, but I think this idea is too good to release more about it just yet.

That is all I have for now. No idea if anyone is even reading these, but thought I’d throw these ideas out there. I’m sure someone will eventually steal my Star Wars idea and run with it since I can’t do too much about it without the IP, but I also have a 90s throwback, Who Framed Roger Rabbit-esk movie idea with Warner Bros IP and would include a scene between Johnny Bravo and Chris Hemsworth. You know where to find me if that’s something the WB would be interested in learning more about.
